General Contracting

For General Contracting Services You Can Count on, Connect with CGA.

As your agent throughout project construction, we are responsible for providing all material, labor, equipment, and services necessary for successful project construction. We work with architects to control project costs, and with subcontractors to maintain the project schedule and quality, process pay applications, and expedite necessary permits through appropriate agencies. We oversee recordkeeping, personnel management, site surveys and engineering, waste material disposal and recycling, as well as records and cash flow management.

Throughout the project, we keep you well-informed regarding goals, progress, costs, and any changes in project design or schedules. Above all, we prioritize and manage job site safety and adherence to all applicable codes and regulations.

A Few of Our Projects:

Indianapolis International Airport

A new 1.2-million-square-foot (110,000 m2) midfield passenger terminal, which cost $1.1 billion, opened in 2008 between the airport’s two parallel runways, southwest of the previous terminal and the crosswind runway. A new FAA Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) building, the second tallest in the United States, opened in April 2006, the first component of the long-planned midfield complex. The Weir Cook Terminal itself opened for arriving flights on the evening of November 11, 2008, and for departures the following morning.

CGA was part of the integrated Construction team with Hunt Construction. CGA’s team was responsible for all Mechanical systems and the validation of the HVAC systems and all systems related to the systems environment. The CGA team managed the Commissioning of the Building Management Systems.

Fonseca Theatre

C Garcia Associates managed construction of this project by completing the renovation of an historic commercial building more than 100 years old, comprised of 3,000 sq. ft. of an existing brick and wood structure at 2508 West Michigan Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. The scope was to completely renovate the exterior and interior of the entire structure while preserving its historical architecture and charm.

CGA maintained the schedule and the theater was able to hold its grand opening “premiere” performance. The project met all of the owner’s expectations, on budget and on schedule with XBE and local contractor participation goals. This was a “total quality” project with zero accidents.

First Horizon Home Health Care

C Garcia Associates managed the construction of a 7,700 sq. ft. existing commercial office building located at 745 Beachway Drive in Indianapolis, Indiana. The total office interior space was completely renovated for a new home health training facility.

Construction included complete demolition of all existing offices and constructing all new cubicle offices, reception area, conference rooms, training facilities, ADA restrooms, and storage area. New storefront entrances and new MEP systems were included in the project. Exterior renovations included roof overlay, painting, new lighting, landscaping, and asphalt painting.
